### Author Biography

Audrey Vernick has written many pictures books, including _First Grade Dropout, Brothers at Bat,_ and _Bob, Not Bob_, co-authored with Liz Garton Scanlon. She also writes middle grade fiction: _Water Balloon_ and _Screaming at the Ump_, as well as _Two Naomis_ and _Naomis Too_, co-authored with Olugbemisola Rhuday-Perkovich. Audrey received a 2019 fellowship from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
