**Camille Peri** is an author and journalist who founded the groundbreaking website _Mothers Who Think_, part of the online publication _Salon_. She coedited the national bestseller _Mothers Who Think: Tales of Real-Life Parenthood_ and _Because I Said So: 33 Mothers Write About Children, Sex, Men, Aging, Faith, Race & Themselves_, which received an American Book Award. She has written and edited for _Vogue_, _Ladies' Home Journal_, _Los Angeles Times Magazine_, _Mother Jones_, _WebMD_, _Reader's Digest_ and the _San Francisco Chronicle and Examiner_ Sunday magazine.
