### Author Biography

**Carter Higgins** is the author of many books for young readers, including _Everything You Need for a Treehouse_, which was an NPR Best Book of the Year, _Bikes for Sale_, and the chapter book series Audrey L & Audrey W: Best Friends-ish. _Circle Under Berry,_ her first book as both author and illustrator, received two starred reviews. Higgins is a creative storyteller who designs playful experiences around visual literacy and believes the wit of kids' language is the best poetry of all. She is an Emmy Award-winning visual effects and motion graphics artist and spent a decade as an elementary school librarian. Higgins lives in Las Vegas. **Isabelle Arsenault** is an internationally renowned children's book illustrator. Her many acclaimed books include _Just Because_, _The Honeybee_, _You Belong Here_, and _Cloth Lullaby_, which received the BolognaRagazzi Award in 2017. She has won the prestigious Governor General's Award for Children's Literature three times, as well as three _New York Times_ Best Illustrated accolades. Arsenault lives in Montreal.
