### Author Biography

Emma Otheguy is the author of several books for young readers, including the picture books _A Sled for Gabo_ and _Martina Has Too Many Tías_, the bilingual picture book _Martí's Song for Freedom,_ and the middle grade novels _Sofía Acosta Makes a Scene_, _Silver Meadows Summer_, and, with Adam Gidwitz, _The Madre de Aguas of Cuba_, part of the Unicorn Rescue Society series. Ana Ramírez González worked as a visual development artist on Pixar's Academy Award-winning film _Coco_ and illustrated the companion picture book _Coco: Miguel and the Grand Harmony_. She grew up in Guanajuato, Mexico, and lives in Oakland, California. Ana is also the illustrator of the picture books _Kamala and Maya's Big Idea, Maybe Tomorrow?_ and _A Sled for Gabo_.
