**Barbara Carroll Roberts** is the author of a middle-grade novel _Nikki on the Line_ and lives in Virginia with her husband, two cats, and one very goofy dog.

**Bagram Ibatoulline** has illustrated many acclaimed books for children, including _The Matchbox Diary_ by Paul Fleischman; _On the Blue Comet_ by Rosemary Wells; _The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane_ and _Great Joy_, both by Kate DiCamillo; and _The Serpent Came to Gloucester_ by M. T. Anderson. Bagram Ibatoulline lives in Chichester, New York.
