**Caitlin Macy** is the author of _Mrs_., _The Fundamentals of Play_ and _Spoiled_. The recipient of an O'Henry Award, Macy's work has been published in _The New Yorker_ and _The New York Times Magazine_ among other publications. She lives in New York City with her husband and two children.
