### Author Biography

One of the most prolific writers in the comic's history, Gerry Finley-Day holds a special place in many **2000 AD** fans' hearts as the creator of classics like _Rogue Trooper_, _Fiends of the Eastern Front_ and _The V.C.s_, as well as _Harry 20 on the High Rock_ and _Ant Wars_.

A keen "ideas man", Finley-Day's concepts of the horrors future warfare had in store were key to both _Rogue_ and _The V.C.s_' continuing popularity, ensuring that their recent return to the Galaxy's Greatest Comic was well-received.

Finley-Day also scripted episodes of _Judge Dredd_ and _Dan Dare_, and co-scripted much of _Invasion!_ (and entirely scripted the prequel story, '_Disaster 1990!_').
